A rainy, yet rocky and festive theme took Patio Trinidad by storm, as the Central Student Council presented the BACK to SCHOOL ROCK FEST for all Trinitian students, especially the freshmen last August 29, 2014. The activity started with the Campus Club fair, wherein, the University President Josefina S. Sumaya, together with Dr. Benjamin Dayrit, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Marlon Gomez, Dean of Students, led the ribbon cutting ceremonies and formally open the program.
Most student organizations eagerly designed and creatively presented their fun booths, where they’ve prepared exciting games and activities for all students visiting their hub. They also used this as an opportunity for the university-wide organizations recruitment and fund generating activities.
The whole day activity were jam-packed with the performances of different organizations in performing arts – TUA Dance Troupe, CBA Gimpers, SLCN DANZ, CED ESKUWELA, TUA Chorale, Trinity Stagers, among others showcasing the dancing and singing prowess of Trinitians. Fun games and surprises also highlighted the event. Towards the evening, CSC Battle of the Bands champions, with Banda ni Kleggy, The Marty’s, Imago and Chicosci rocks TUA grounds to its heights with their astounding performances.
Trinity Stagers (TRISTA) bagged the Best Booth and Most Friendliest Booth awards, while TUA Chorale was awarded with the Most Profitable and Trinity Christian Fellowship (TCF) with the Most Number of Recruits. (Photo Credits: Bea Sarah Luga-CED / CBA Local Council/ Trinity Observer/ Kim Manuel)
