Trinity University of Asia recently passed the Recertification Audit for the ISO 9001:2008. SGS Philippines conducted the recertification audit with Ms. Evelyn Dofredo acting as the lead auditor. Mr. Arnold Dizon and Jess Seminiano were the other members of the team.
All organizational units were covered during the audit with no exclusions declared by the university. The ISO certification was ably facilitated by the ISO steering committee led by Dr. Illuminada Castigador as chairman and Mr. Jose Lino Sarmiento as the Quality Management Representative.
The recertification is the 3rd cycle for the university. TUA first passed the certification for ISO 9001:2008 standards way back in 2010. The certification, along with the recent granting of Autonomous status by CHED and the awarding of Center of Development for the St. Luke’s College of Nursing, is a confirmation of TUA’s commitment to provide the highest level of quality in the delivery of educational services.
As of late, TUA is already preparing itself for the transition to ISO 9001:2015 standards to further gear itself to the challenges in the changing educational sphere and industry requirements.
