A vital indicator of the quality of instruction of an educational institution is the performance of its graduates in licensure examinations.
The St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) has maintained a passing rate that is far better than the established national passing percentage in the licensure examinations. For three consecutive examinations, SLCN placed first making TUA the top school of Nursing in the country as cited by the Professional Regulation Commission. Very recently, due to its outstanding performance in the licensure examinations, TUA has been mentioned as one of the special nursing review centers of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
In the licensure examinations for teachers, graduates of both Bachelor in Secondary Education and Bachelor in Elementary Education consistently surpassed the required passing rate. On the part of the College of Medical Technology, a graduate was cited as the topnotcher while another one placed 5th in the 2006 board examinations.
