NEWLY REGISTERED TRINITIAN NURSES TAKE OATH

The St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) held a thanksgiving service with oath-taking ceremony at the Holy Trinity Chapel, for its 30 successful board passers in the November 2018 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE), last January 7.

The university recognized the efforts of the passers for making SLCN’s 4th straight year in getting a 100% passing rate in the Philippine NLE. The university also awarded the efforts of Christian Dela Cruz and gave him an incentive for placing 4th in the said examination.

“Five (5) months ago, we called these sleepless nights where there were times we doubted the capability as to whether you can get those two letters beside your name (RN), but with motivation coming from your parents, friends and classmates including your teachers, you were able to surpass one of the biggest challenges in your life. And here you are, the newly registered nurses…WE DID IT,” said Dr. John Michael O. Lorena, dean of SLCN, during his speech.

The oathtaking was officiated by Honorable Cafredda P. Dumlao, PhD, RN, PRC, Board of Nursing (BON).
