Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Trinity University of Asia seeks to provide deserving and promising youth with scholarship aid. Towards this goal, a part of the University’s budget is allotted to scholarships for high school valedictorians and salutatorians and for students already enrolled at TUA who have achieved and shown promise of high academic performance. Other funds for scholarships are received from different agencies or private individuals.
Academic Entrance Scholarship
Any graduating JHS & SHS with the highest honors,with high honors, and with honors of a class of atleast fifty (50) students from an accredited highschool shall be entitled to a tuition fee discount.
Guidelines:
- Should be a Filipino citizen.
- Should be officially enrolled prior to scholarship application.
- Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- Must take and successfully pass the qualifying exam and obtain a grade of Above Average (AA) for all categories tested.
- A graduate of any Junior High School and Senior High School of at least (50) students from the school recognized by the government with a GWA of 95.00% and no grades lower than 92.00%
- Should undergo interview with the scholarship coordinator or TUA Guidance Counselor.
- Have no college credits.
- Scholarship is good for (2) two semesters only.
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background)
- Certification issued by the principal.
- Certification of Good Moral Character from the Guidance Counselor.
- Form 137 /Report Card (photocopy)
- Personal Narrative Essay/Autobiography
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
The scholarship is given to SHS graduates who wish to pursue a career in Education by pursuing a degree in Secondary Education, Special Needs or Early Childhood Education. It is a 4- year scholarship program (not applicable if the student shifts to a different course) wherein TUA will shoulder 100% of the tuition fees of the students. Other fees does not apply.
Guidelines:
- Should be a Filipino citizen.
- Should be officially enrolled prior to scholarship application.
- Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- Must take and successfully pass the qualifying exam and obtain a grade of High Average (HA) for all categories tested.
- A graduate of any Junior High School and Senior High School of at least (50) students from the school recognized by the government with a GWA of 85.00% and above and no grades lower than 85.00%
- Should undergo interview with the scholarship coordinator or TUA Guidance Counselor.
- Have no college credits.
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background).
- Certification issued by the principal.
- Certification of Good Moral Character from the Guidance Counselor or Principal.
- Two (2) recommendation letters from the school authority (principal, guidance counselor, and or class adviser).
- Form 137/ High School Report Card (photocopy).
- Personal narrative essay/Autobiography.
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
- Should not be subjected to any disciplinary action during the program of study.
A study grant for academically qualified students unable to continue their studies because of their financial difficulties.
Guidelines:
- Have 1 year / 2 semester’s residency.
- Have a weighted average of 2.0 or higher.
- Have no grades lower than 2.25 in any subject.
- Have no dropped subjects.
- Should not be subjected to any disciplinary action by the Student Affairs Center during the availment of the program.
- Given to Natural Born Filipino citizens only.
- Should submit a photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate.
- Only one (1) member of the family can avail of the scholarship.
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background).
- Copy of grades (photocopy).
- Certification of Good Moral Character from the College Dean.
- Income Tax (ITR) from parents or Certificate of Tax Exemption (combined income of parents should not be more than Php180,000.00/year).
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
- Photocopy of the statement of account (SOA) for the last two (2) semesters.
- Personal narrative essay/Autobiography Two (2) recommendation letters from the faculty.
The scholarship is given to students with Board Examination courses.
Guidelines:
- Have a weighted average of 1.75 or higher.
- No grades lower than 2.0 in any subjects.
- Have no dropped subjects.
- Should not be subjected to any disciplinary action by the Student Affairs Center during the availment of the program.
- Given to Filipino students only.
- Only one (1) member of the family can avail of the scholarship.
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background)
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
- Copy of grades (photocopy).
- Certification of Good Moral Character.
- Personal Narrative Essay/Autobiography.
- Two (2) Recommendation letters from the faculty.
The scholarship is given to SHS graduates who wish to pursue a career in either Respiratory Therapy or Radiologic Technology. It is 4-year scholarship program (not applicable if the student shifts to a different course) wherein TUA will shoulder 100% of the tuition fees of students. Other fees does not apply.
Guidelines:
- Has no college credits upon application.
- Should pass the entrance examination.
- Result of entrance examination should have a rating not lower than Above Average (AA) in any area tested.
- Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- Should maintain a GWA of 2.00 and above.
- In case the student decides to shift or discontinue the program, the student will be asked to pay the amount of scholarship give.
Requirements:

- Two (2) recommendation letters from the school authority (principal, guidance counselor, and or class adviser).

The Real Life Foundation, Inc is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization duly registered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC)in partnership with the Trinity University of Asia. The school shall grant three (3) qualified college students per year from Real Life Foundation starting SY 2020-2021.
Guidelines:
- Has no college credits upon application.
- Should pass the entrance examination with a rating and the admission interviews
- The grantee is free to choose any course, provided that the school and RLFI approve of it.
- Should maintain a GWA of at least 85% and above
- The grantee losses the scholarship when he or she accumulate four (4) failed subject within the full term of the degree.
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background).
- Certification of Good Moral Character from the Guidance Counselor.
- Two (2) recommendation letters from the school authority (principal, guidance counselor, and or class adviser).
- Report Card or transcript of record with a GWA of at least 85% (photocopy).
- Barangay Clearance/Certificate of Indigency
- Official endorsement letter from RLFI Personal
- Narrative Essay/Autobiography
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
Scranton Undergraduate Scholarship aims at developing women to be leaders of their own life and their communities. The scholarship covers full tuition and is awarded to the schools directly. Scranton Center is committed to the leadership development of our scholarship recipients by providing scholarships up to Ph.D degrees and empowering young women to participate in global networking, including the annual Scranton-Ewha Leadership Program in Seoul, Korea.
Guidelines:
- 2nd year or higher in undergraduate studies.
- GPA of B or higher in the previous year in college.
- Must be from developing Asian countries with per capita GDP under 5,000 USD.
- Applicant’s school must be a partner institution of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
- Students of MBA, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medicine are not eligible.
Requirements
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background).
- Personal Narrative Essay (2-4 pages, double spaced, typed).
- Official Transcript of the previous year/s in college.
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester.
- Certification of Good Moral Character from the College Dean
- Two (2) recommendation letters (from the college dean and one faculty).
This scholarship is awarded to needy students who, in return for financial assistance, perform volunteer service.
Guidelines:
- Active member of Episcopal Church of the Philippines (ECP) and Philippine Independent Church (PIC) only.
- No failing grades and dropped subject.
- Should not be subjected to any disciplinary action by the Student Affairs Center during the availment of the program.
- Should finish the course as specified in the curriculum.
Requirements
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (white background).
- Copy of grades (photocopy).
- Personal Narrative Essay/Autobiography.
- Certification of Good Moral Character.
- Certification or endorsement from the parish priest.
- Should render 35 hours of service within the semester (c/o Chaplain’s office).
This scholarship is given in Honor of Dean Emeritus Ester A. Santos, first Dean of the St. Luke’s College of Nursing. This scholarship is open to incoming 3rd year or 4th year nursing students in need of financial assistance.
Guidelines:
- Should be an incoming 3rd year or 4th year nursing student of St. Luke’s College of Nursing.
- Currently in need of financial assistance.
- Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- Should maintain a GWA of 2.00 or better.
- Has no subject grade below 2.00.
Requirements:
- Application letter addressed to the Committee.
- Accomplished application form with 1×1 I.D picture (with white background).
- Photocopy of Income Tax Return of parents or person/persons supporting the student (if both parents are working, ITR of both parents should be submitted).
- Three (3) Recommendation Letters From the College of Nursing (not a form letter but a brief description of the applicant as a person, as a student, etc.), two from Faculty Members one of the College Dean.
- Transcript of records from the registrar from 1st year to semester preceding the application.
- Grades for the 2nd semester can be submitted later.
An educational benefit granted by the AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) for the dependents of soldiers. Scholars enjoy free tuition and miscellaneous fees, a monthly stipend of up to Php 20,000 per year, and a food and transportation allowance. The AFPEBSO has been managing educational programs for qualified dependents since its activation in 2000. It caters mostly to the disadvantaged orphans whose parents have died or were incapacitated in combat. Other beneficiaries are dependents of non-battle casualties, active and retired soldiers, and Civilian Employees of the AFP. - Is a student leader, officer of a university-wide or college-wide organization, and a 2nd – 4th year student.

The ABBA PERSONNEL SERVICES INC, is offering its full scholarship grant to underprivileged but deserving youth, who are committed to pursuing Health Sciences courses specifically, BS-Nursing, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility through a partnership with the Trinity University of Asia.
Guidelines:
- The recipient is entitled to full tuition and miscellaneous fees as reflected in the assessment and Medical expenses related to the educational requirements.
- Must maintain a Cumulative Grade Average of 85% (2.25) or better with no failing grades in all subjects.
- No dropped subjects at the time of availment of the scholarship.
- Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- In cases where the recipient fails to finish his degree and/or is unable to render the required years of return service the recipient shall repay, with interest, all the privileges he received from the scholarship + 20% of the amount received from the privileges to cover administration costs for the scholarship.

The Uncle Willie Information Technology Scholarship is an IT endowment scholarship that is specifically designed to support students pursuing degrees in the field of information technology. By providing financial assistance to students who are passionate about IT and have a desire to innovate, the scholarship program can help to foster the next generation of IT leaders who will drive innovation and progress in the industry.
Guidelines:
- Has no college credit upon application.
- Must take and successfully pass the qualifying exams (optional).
- Should maintain a WGA of 1.75 and have no subject grades lower than 2.00 Has not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
- Should be willing to render 35 hours of community service per semester within the institution.
- In case the student decides to shift or discontinue the program, the student will be asked to pay the amount of scholarship given.
- Annual total family income must not exceed PHP 300,000.00 as stated in their BIR Income Tax Return (ITR), with exemptions on a case-to-case basis as may be determined by the Selection Committee. For example, parents with six (6) or more children may have an income that could exceed PHP 300,000.00 yet still qualify for the scholarship.
