CDS THRUST

  1. People’s Empowerment and Organizing- programs and services are collaboratively developed and designed with the community stakeholders as an active partner in development. The program initiative will be based on the people’s perception of their need and their active engagement in addressing these needs through community organizing and utilizing their own resources and mobilizing different sectors in the community that advocate for change and development.
  2. Sustainable Programs and Services- programs and services are geared towards the university’s contribution for realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the active engagement of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in ensuring that initiatives and effort of the Trinitian Center for Community Development of TUA is integrated in their Barangay Development Plan (BDP) and with the participation of the different stakeholders in the community.
  3. Integrated, Holistic and Interdisciplinary Approach– the community extension programs of the different Colleges aimed to address the needs of its partner communities that are integrated and interdisciplinary as the stakeholders recognized that their problems are interrelated and for which them as a community is a bio-psychosocial and spiritual being. Thus, programs should be holistic and integrated in nature, and through the expertise of different Colleges, collaboration and partnership for total human development can be realized.
