Teacher Certificate Program
Professional education units for graduates preparing for classroom instruction and licensure.

The Teacher Certificate Program (TCP) of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) provides non-education graduates with the professional education foundation needed for teaching and licensure preparation.
Through the program, students complete professional education units that prepare them for classroom instruction, learner engagement, and the broader responsibilities carried by educators.
The TCP is designed for graduates and professionals from different disciplines who plan to pursue teaching as a profession.
For the Midyear Term, CASE will offer the first 9 units of the 18-unit TCP curriculum through evening schedules designed to accommodate graduate students and working professionals.
Students may complete the remaining units during SY 2026-2027.
Midyear classes begin on June 15, 2026.
