Marco Eduardo R. Ortaleza is the Principal of Trinity High School, serving as the school’s instructional leader and lead advocate of student well-being through purposeful student formation activities. With 17 years of experience in education, he has served in various roles including English Teacher, Discipline Officer, School Activities Coordinator, Department Head, Assistant Principal, and now Principal.
In the classroom, sir Marco promotes active learning through engaging activities, intentionally avoiding passive lectures and lengthy talks. His approach to discipline encourages students to reflect on their actions and grow from their experiences rather than rely on purely punitive measures.
As a school administrator, sir Marco chooses to stay out of the spotlight, allowing the people under his care to shine. He consistently challenges school personnel to grow and develop, believing that empowering others is the foundation of effective teaching and leadership. He is also a certifier for the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC). Outside of school, he enjoys running as a way to recharge and stay balanced.
