TUA Launches Trinity Travel Bureau in Partnership with Blue Horizons Travel and Tours

Last October 16, 2025, the School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) of the Institute of Business and Management (IBAM) launched the Trinity Travel Bureau in partnership with Blue Horizons Travel and Tours (BHTT).
This is part of TUA’s continuing effort to connect academic learning with industry experience. Located within the campus, the Trinity Travel Bureau will be operated by BHTT as the official on-campus travel industry partner. It will offer in-house internship opportunities for our BS Tourism Management students and give them practical exposure to travel agency operations such as tour packaging, itinerary planning, client handling, reservations, ticketing, documentation, and marketing.
Through this partnership, students will experience how learning extends into the realities of the tourism field. The collaboration will also pave the way for future projects such as industry talks, familiarization tours, and immersion programs that help prepare students for professional practice.
The launch featured a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing and messages from both Trinity University of Asia and Blue Horizons Travel and Tours. A video message from BHTT General Manager Mr. Gregor Zajc was also presented, where he shared his optimism for the partnership and its role in preparing future tourism professionals.
Industry representatives from Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Astoria Culinary and Hospitality Institute, Jpark Island Resort, Singapore Airlines, and Starlux Airlines were also present to show their support for the collaboration.
