CUAC Triennial International Board Meeting 2025

CUAC Triennial International Board Meeting 2025

The CUAC Triennial International Conference in the Philippines

Trinity University of Asia is honored to host the Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion (CUAC) for its 12th Triennial International Conference, to be held in Quezon City, Philippines. This global gathering brings together participants from Anglican institutions around the world to reflect on shared values, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections.

The journey begins in July 2025, as TUA welcomes the CUAC Board for an international meeting that sets the tone and direction for the full conference in 2026.

ABOUT CUAC

The Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion (CUAC) is a global network of Anglican-affiliated institutions committed to advancing the ideals of Christian education in today’s world. Through ongoing dialogue, academic exchange, and shared initiatives, CUAC fosters a sense of common purpose among its member schools: supporting learning that is rooted in faith, shaped by service, and open to the needs of a changing global community.

CUAC affirms the role of chaplaincy and theological reflection within university settings and recognizes how spiritual life continues to shape the experience of students and educators alike. Its work is guided by the Five Marks of Mission of the Anglican Communion: a call to proclaim hope, nurture communities, respond to need, work for justice and peace, and care for creation.

THE TRIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The CUAC Triennial International Conference is held every three years and brings together participants from member institutions for a week of exchange, reflection, and shared learning. It provides space to explore how education, faith, and leadership respond to the challenges of today’s world, while building relationships that continue beyond the event itself.

Each conference is shaped by the culture and context of its host institution. In 2023, the conference was held in Australia, hosted by Trinity College and Janet Clarke Hall at the University of Melbourne. In 2026, the 12th conference will take place in the Philippines, as Trinity University of Asia welcomes the global CUAC community to Quezon City.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS THIS JULY 2025

From July 17 to 21, 2025, TUA will welcome members of the CUAC Board for the Triennial International Board Meeting, a key moment of preparation for the 2026 International Conference, and an opportunity for meaningful cultural and spiritual immersion.

This five-day visit will be a full and engaging experience. Board members willl be exploring Philippine heritage sites, visiting churches and community spaces, and joining Anglican communities in worship and fellowship. They’ll also get to taste local cuisine, experience Filipino hospitality, and gain a deeper understanding of how Anglican identity is lived and expressed in this part of the world.

The meeting itself will focus on shaping the vision, themes, and direction of the 2026 conference. But just as important are the connections that will form during shared meals, conversations, and visits, all hosted in the spirit of welcome and partnership.

A SHARED COMMITMENT WITH CUAC

Trinity University of Asia has been part of the CUAC community for many years, engaging in conferences, programs, and collaborative work within the network. As part of its continuing involvement, TUA regularly hosts the CUAC International Service-Learning Program (ISLP) under the CUAC Asia Chapter. The ISLP is a two-week experience where students from across Asia come together to serve and grow through hands-on engagement with local communities.

Through ISLP, students explore the intersection of learning and service, encounter real-world social issues, and come away with deeper self-awareness and a broader view of others. These shared experiences are at the heart of TUA’s connection with CUAC, rooted in action, reflection, and community.

As host of the upcoming Triennial International Conference, TUA takes on a new role. The university will offer its campus, context, and community as a site where global conversations can unfold meaningfully, grounded in the realities of place and people.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026

The 12th CUAC Triennial International Conference will take place in 2026, hosted by Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City, Philippines. The conference will bring together voices from across the CUAC network to reflect on shared challenges, explore new ideas, and strengthen connections across regions and institutions.

More details including the conference theme, program highlights, and registration information will be released in the coming months. TUA looks forward to welcoming CUAC members to campus for this important moment of gathering.
