NURSING AT TUA-SLCN
St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, the predecessor of the St. Luke's College of Nursing, is one of the oldest nursing schools in the Philippines. It was established in 1907, soon after the founding of St. Luke's Hospital which was then known as "University Hospital", in honor of some leading universities of the United States which helped finance the construction of the building. Upon the decision to elevate the "School of Nursing" into a "College of Nursing," the Board of Trustees decided to keep the name St. Luke's and to name the College of Nursing, St. Luke's College of Nursing. Currently, it is one of the educational units of Trinity University of Asia.
St. Luke's College of Nursing is one of the best schools of nursing in the country today, having St. Luke's Medical Center as its base hospital. It is located along E. Rodriguez Ave., Cathedral Heights, Quezon City, Philippines.
