TUA Hosts Delegates from the UAS for Health Professions Upper Austria

On July 26, 2024, Trinity University of Asia (TUA) welcomed distinguished guests from the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria. Ms. Theresa Glötzl, International Project Management, and Ms. Tanja Reich, Internship Coordinator, Project and Program Coordination, Regional International Coordinator, and Consultant for Nostrifications and Recognition of Foreign Degrees, visited TUA as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions, which began with a successful visit to Germany and Austria by TUA officials in June.

The delegation was warmly received by TUA’s officials that included our Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Howell Ho, Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Matilde Asuncion, Dean of St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) Dr. John Michael Lorena, and Manager of the Alumni, Industry Relations, and Global Education Office (AIRGEO) Mr. Caleb Donne Coniate.

The core of the visit revolved around strategic discussions focused on collaborative projects between the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria and TUA. A major topic of interest was the student and faculty mobility program, specifically for SLCN, which will be funded by the Erasmus Mundus program. This initiative aims to enhance educational experiences through international exposure.

The exchange of tokens and gifts that symbolized mutual respect and commitment to the partnership. This gesture was followed by a tour of the TUA campus, which included the state-of-the-art facilities of the St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN). The tour provided the delegates with insights into the advanced educational practices and innovative learning environments that TUA offers to its students.

The visit by Ms. Glötzl and Ms. Reich highlights the importance of international partnerships in enhancing the educational experiences of students and faculty. It also marks a significant milestone in TUA’s efforts to build bridges with institutions worldwide.
