The University President Dr. Gisela DA. Luna delivered the invocation prayer at the National Memorial Service for President Fidel V. Ramos held on September 10, 2022, at Central United Methodist Church, Manila. The service sought to honor former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 94. The service was organized by Wesleyan University-Philippines, Silliman University, and the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities (ACSCU) where Dr. Luna is a Trustee.
In 1994, President Fidel V. Ramos awarded the institution (then Trinity College of Quezon City) the Apolinario Mabini Award for its success in integrating differently-abled students into regular academic programs and increasing public awareness of the plight of the PWD population in our country.
