TUA Holds Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2026

Trinity University of Asia (TUA) held its Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2026 on June 17, 2026 at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Mary and St. John, a day before the University’s 64th Commencement Exercises.

The Baccalaureate Mass brought together graduating students, faculty members, administrators, families, and guests in prayer and thanksgiving as the Class of 2026 prepared to receive their degrees and conclude their years at Trinity University of Asia.

The celebration took place in two batches. The morning service was attended by graduates from the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS), College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), College of Engineering and Information Sciences (CEIS), and the Institute of Business and Management (IBAM). The afternoon service was attended by graduates from the St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) and the College of Medical Technology (CMT).

The Eucharistic celebration was led by University Chaplain Rev. Dexter B. Tad-awan. Graduates also heard a message from Mr. Kerwin C. Faustino, RMT, National Marketing Manager of Zafire Distributors, Inc., who addressed the graduating class as they prepared to enter their respective professions.

Graduating students from the different colleges participated in various parts of the liturgy, including the readings and prayers of the faithful.

The Baccalaureate Mass centered on Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The scripture reminded the Class of 2026 of God’s guidance and faithfulness as they prepared for life beyond the University.

As one of the University’s longstanding graduation traditions, the Baccalaureate Mass provided an opportunity for the Trinity University of Asia community to gather in worship, offer prayers of thanksgiving, and seek God’s guidance for the graduates before the 64th Commencement Exercises.

The Baccalaureate Mass concluded with prayers for the Class of 2026 as they prepared for commencement and their next chapter as Trinitian alumni.
