TUA TriLink Officer Leads HosTCoDe NCR Courtesy Visit to CHED NCR

Dr. Fernando V. Trinidad III, Head of the TriLink Office of Trinity University of Asia (TUA) and President of the Hospitality and Tourism Council of Deans – National Capital Region (HosTCoDe-NCR), led a courtesy visit to the Commission on Higher Education – National Capital Region (CHED-NCR) on July 13, 2026.
The HosTCoDe NCR delegation met with Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, CESE, Director III and Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Director IV of CHED NCR, to discuss priorities and opportunities for collaboration in hospitality and tourism education across the National Capital Region.
Joining Dr. Trinidad were members of the HosTCoDe NCR Executive Committee and Board of Directors that represents higher education institutions throughout the region.
During the meeting, Dr. Trinidad presented HosTCoDe NCR’s 2026-2028 Strategic Framework, anchored on the theme “One Voice. Boundless Possibilities.” The framework outlines the Council’s direction in faculty development, research, curriculum innovation, internationalization, industry engagement, and collaboration among higher education institutions.
The delegation also presented several initiatives under the framework, including the HosTCoDe Academy, Faculty Immersion Program, Executive Roundtable, Hospitality Olympiad, Innovation Challenge, and Research Consortium.
Atty. Domingo welcomed the delegation and discussed areas where CHED NCR and HosTCoDe NCR could continue working together in support of hospitality and tourism education. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to sustain dialogue and collaborative initiatives among CHED NCR, HosTCoDe NCR, and higher education institutions in the region.
