The Influence of Two Widely-Used Foreign Languages in the Philippines: Learn its Importance in the 2021 National Cultural and Language Education Conference

In celebration of the 58th founding anniversary of Trinity University of Asia, the College of Arts, Sciences and Education will conduct a national conference on  the importance of foreign languages use in communication, culture and multilingualism—Mandarin and English languages. This will be facilitated by the Media and Communication Department and the Languages and Contemporary Human Studies Department to be slated on February 19, 2021, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm and February 20, 2021, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm via Facebook and Youtube Live Streaming.

The theme of the conference is “Globalization and Nationalism: Rationalizing the Need for Culture and Language Education in the Current Virtual Landscape.” It aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of communication, culture and multilingualism. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of language education.

This conference is free of charge. Priorities will be given to Junior Senior High School and Senior High School students as well as teachers in all level.
