Senior Data Scientist

Mr. Ervin Josh M. Gumban II belongs to batch 2019 graduate of the College of Engineering and Information Sciences (CEIS) here at Trinity University of Asia. He took up BSIT with a Specialization in Web, Mobile, and Software Development.  He is currently working at ANIMO Inc. and was just recently promoted as Senior DATA SCIENTIST in their company. A Data scientist is considered the number one IT profession nowadays as far as salary is concern. This job is currently one of the most in-demand IT careers. Companies normally hire only 1 or 2 Data Scientists to work for them. Josh’s main tasks are to identify issues and maximizes data mining to propose solutions for effective decision making, develop algorithms, perform digital experiments to integrate, manage, interrogate and extract data to provide needed customized reports to the organization.  His main tools are data visualization, machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, data preparation, and text analytics. His CEIS family is very proud of his accomplishment and will always consider him as an inspiration for their future IT graduates.
