Y2 Residence Hotel and TUA’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management sign MOU for Industry Collaboration

The Y2 Residence Hotel team comprising of Mr. Dominic Dorol, General Manager, Mr. Peter Ruiz, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Ms. Ghel Capco, Account Executive, visited Trinity University of Asia on May 5, 2023, and had a meeting with the University President, Dr. Gisela Luna, and the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Howell Ho. They also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TUA’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, represented by its College Dean Dr. Fernando Trinidad III, Hospitality Management Head Mr. Alden Tolentino, and Tourism Management Head Mr. Julius Flores. Other TUA officials who were present during the MOU signing ceremony were AIRGEO Manager Mr. Caleb Coniate, and Chair for Graduate School of Business and Technology, Dr. Ronald Manzano.
 
The MOU outlines a framework for collaboration between the Y2 Residence Hotel and TUA’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Under the agreement, Trinitians will be able to enjoy discounts on accommodations at the Y2 Residence Hotel, and students of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management will have the opportunity to gain industry exposure through internships, and potential employment opportunities with the hotel.
 
This collaboration between Y2 Residence Hotel and TUA’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management is a testament to the commitment of both institutions to promoting academic excellence and industry collaboration.
