Another Milestone for TUA: CHED Autonomous Status Renewed

Trinity University of Asia (TUA) proudly announces that it has once again been granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This recognition, valid from September 16, 2024, to September 15, 2027, was officially awarded during a ceremony on November 24, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

The CHED Autonomous Status is the highest level of institutional recognition given to Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEI) that demonstrate outstanding academic performance, exceptional program results, and leadership in education. TUA first received this recognition in 2009 and has consistently met the high standards set by CHED ever since.

Trinity University of Asia is proud to be one of only 77 private universities nationwide recognized with Autonomous Status for 2024–2027. According to CHED Chairperson Dr. J. Prospero De Vera III, universities granted this recognition represent the highest levels of excellence in Philippine education.

This recognition reaffirms TUA’s dedication to providing transformative education, fostering innovation, and producing graduates who are equipped to excel on both national and global stages.

The awarding ceremony featured inspiring messages and keynote speeches celebrating the achievements of private universities and colleges. Certificates of Recognition were formally presented to institutions that exemplify excellence in education.

TUA’s inclusion in this distinguished list highlights the collective effort and commitment of its faculty, staff, and students to maintain the highest academic standards and continuously innovate in teaching and research.

As a university recognized for its excellence, Trinity University of Asia is committed to further advancing its programs and initiatives and ensure that it remains at the forefront of Philippine education. This status serves as both an honor and a responsibility to uphold the values of quality, innovation, and global competitiveness.
