TUA Nursing and Medical Technology Programs Undergo PAASCU Accreditation
Trinity University of Asia continues its commitment to academic excellence as its Nursing and Medical Technology programs under the St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) and College of Medical Technology (CMT) underwent the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) accreditation process on October 3-4, 2024. Currently accredited at Level 3, these programs are seeking the prestigious Level 4 status.
During the two-day evaluation, PAASCU accreditors conducted meetings and interviews with university heads and representatives from various offices. Their assessment included classroom observations, campus and laboratory tours, community visit, and hospital visits that provided a comprehensive review of the learning environments and training facilities.
The accreditors were given access to the advanced laboratories utilized by students in the Nursing and Medical Technology programs, along with insights into clinical training through partnerships with top hospitals. These assessments help ensure that students receive the hands-on experience and preparation necessary for success in the healthcare field.
Trinity University of Asia eagerly awaits the results of the accreditation process and remains committed to delivering the highest standards in healthcare education.
