Celebrating our Third-Year Psychology Students at the Pinning Ceremony
On June 5, 2023 at 9:00 AM, we celebrated the achievements of our outstanding third-year Psychology students at the Pinning Ceremony, which was held in the University Chapel. This event marked an important milestone before their practicum.
The Pinning Ceremony, a cherished tradition in our institution, was led by the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Echanes Cadiogan. With his wise reflections and blessings, he guided our students to reflect upon their past accomplishments and embrace the challenges that lie ahead. The blessing of pins symbolized the commitment and dedication they will bring to their practicum, as they strive to make a positive impact in the field of psychology.
As their loved ones took this significant step in their academic and professional development, parents and guardians joined us for this happy occasion, beaming with pride. Mr. Ronn Avila, the Department Head of the Psychology Department, addressed the students with an inspiring message, providing guidance and encouragement as they prepare for their practicum. We were also honored to have Dr. Teresita Capacete, the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education, share her heartfelt message, acknowledging the hard work and commitment of our third-year students.
To our third-year Psychology students, congratulations on reaching this significant milestone in your academic journey! May this Pinning Ceremony be a reminder of your potential and a source of inspiration as you continue to grow and develop as future psychologists.
