Trinity University of Asia High School’s Recognition Day 2023
Trinity University of Asia High School recently held its Recognition Day 2023 on June 23 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, at the University Theater. The event was an occasion to honor the exceptional achievements of students who have demonstrated excellence in various areas. Awards were presented to our Extra and Co-Curricular Awardees, Academic Excellence Awardees, and Parents and Teachers Awardees.
The program commenced with a heartfelt prayer and blessings led by our University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Echanes Cadiogan. The event’s welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Julius Somera, the Principal of the Trinity University of Asia High School (TUA HS). We were honored to have an outstanding alumna, Ms. Nicole Sandi, who is now the Campus Director of Every Nation Campus – Greenhills, as our Guest Speaker. Her journey from TUA High School to St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) and beyond, is a living example of the power of education. In her inspiring speech, she emphasized the importance of trust in the Lord and seeking His will in all endeavors, highlighting the certainty of a bright future when guided by faith. Ms. Sandi shared, “I believe with all of my heart that there is a bright future ahead of us. The world that we live in will continually change and sometimes even challenge what God has already set as good and true. And that is why as we move forward, it is crucial for us to continue to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts—trusting His will, His plans & purposes for our lives. We can trust Him because He is the One who created us. Seek His will in all that we do…His Word, His wisdom, His guidance. And He will lead our way towards His purposes.”
We were also delighted to have esteemed guests in attendance, University President, Dr. Gisela Luna, VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Howell Ho, and VP for Administration and Finance, Ms. Matilde Asuncion. Their presence added significance to the event as they joined in recognizing and presenting the awards and certificates to the deserving awardees.
