Exploring your Inner Serenity, an Afternoon of Worship, Music, Reflection, and Building Connections
Trinity University of Asia recently hosted an inspiring and uplifting event called Inner Serenity – which brought together students, teachers, and staff for an afternoon of Worship, Music, Reflection, and Building Connections. Organized by the University Student Council in collaboration with Every Nation Campus, the event was held in front of Mary Alston Hall on March 29, 2023. The primary aim of the event was to worship God and promote the University’s Five Marks of Mission while providing students with a much-needed break from the stress and struggles of midterm exams. Ms. Nicole Sandi, an alumnae of TUA-St. Luke’s College of Nursing, youth servant from Every Nation Campus, delivered a short exhortation during the ceremony. She assured the community that God guides us in all aspects of our lives. After the message, students were given time to reflect and contemplate on the message. The highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly the worship session, led by Every Nation Campus’ band. The Trinitian community sang along to numerous worship hymns, demonstrating their divine dedication, and creating an atmosphere filled with joy, serenity, and optimism. Through this event, the students, teachers and staff got reminded that no matter how difficult the challenges that we maybe facing, and no matter how busy we get with our numerous responsibilities, we can always come to Lord and make space for Him in our lives, to do His work in and through us. At the same time, the event was a great reminder that at the end of the day, and in everything we do, it is still all about God. The organizers of Inner Serenity 2023 expressed their delight at the event’s success. The afternoon was a resounding triumph, not only for providing students with a space to release their stress but also for reinforcing the University’s ideals and goals. The event is an excellent example of how Trinity University of Asia is committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of its students, faculty, and staff.
