Trinity Talk: Care of the Aging Population
In celebration of the 58th Founding Anniversary of Trinity University of Asia, St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) hosted a TrinityTalk Online Panel Discussion entitled “Care of the Aging Population” yesterday, February 17, 2021, via Zoom and Facebook Live.
Two outstanding alumni of St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN), Ionn Carlo Diaz from Batch Invictus and Angelique Alexis Zamora from Batch Exaleron, served as the guest speaker and panel reactor respectively and graced the E-Lecture Series with their knowledge and experiences in Geriatric care. The speakers also shared their practices as professional nurses working in the United States and Australia, which allowed the students, faculty, and other alumni to gain a broader perspective on Geriatric Nursing outside the country.
SLCN is committed to the development of a Geriatric-centered curriculum to train the students in providing care for the aging population. The webinar strengthened the viewer’s understanding and served as a source of valuable information in the practice of Geriatric Nursing around the world.
