PARANGAL 2023: Student Council Turn-Over Ceremonies
We commemorate the recently held College Local Council and University Student Council Turn-Over Ceremonies and Parangal 2023 University Student Recognition, a momentous event that took place on June 14, 2023, at 1:30pm, at the University Theater. It was a day filled with symbolism, as we witnessed the signing of relinquishment and assumption between the incumbent University Student Council Governor, Ms. Hanna Beatrice Aguirre (St. Luke’s College of Nursing), and the University Student Council Governor-elect, Mr. Jeremy Reyes (College of Arts, Sciences, and Education).
The highlight of the ceremony was the symbolic turn-over of the University Student Council flag and gavel, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility and leadership to the incoming governor. It was a powerful moment that marked the beginning of a new era.
We also witnessed the oath-taking of the newly elected University Student Council officers, led by the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Ms. Matilde Asuncion. Their commitment to serve and contribute to the student community is truly inspiring.
To cap off the ceremony, Mr. Jeremy Reyes, in his inaugural address, shared his vision and aspirations for the University Student Council. His inspiring words set the tone for the year ahead, promising a vibrant and dynamic term.
The Trinitian Center for Community Development is the official arm for Community Extension Service that supports Trinity University of Asia in carrying out its Vision and Mission of involving her constituents to live a LIFE that is GOD-centered and in service to the community.
